Mr. Bamb started his business from a room of just 100 sq ft area in size. He is considered to be an individual with unique business acumen. It is because of his idealistic and enthusiastic personality that he has decided to make Vardhman Group the best in the tea world. Mr. Vardhaman Bamb started at a young age with dedication and determination to achieve his desired goals by overcoming business problems, towards making a successful move to achieve his goal.
When his family business suffered a setback in the midst of a downturn in the market in 2007, Mr. Bamb entered the family business of tea powder at the tender age of sixteen by maintaining concentration of mind and foresight, hoping to build a successful business by pursuing it as a passion and mission at a early age. Initial journey was not that easy as he himself was handling the transportation , loading and unloading and delivering the tea powder, along with finding new customers and at the end managing the finances of the business.
It was from this experience that he decided to expand his business and took a step in that direction with a never give up attitude . Later he travelled to Guwahati, Siliguri to gain the training from expertise of the tea business and soon after completing it he got the in depth knowledge of mixing , blending and tasting of selected quality tea leaves and that experience has proved to be invaluable in the formation of Vardhaman Group.
However, this journey of aromatic tea did not happen easily. He made many sacrifices like his education suffered when he began to pursue his passion for business. At an age when everyone lives carefree, Mr. Bamb worked hard with determination and decided to set up a tea powder depot in his city to bring all kinds of tea powders from the world of tea to the customers in one place, in order to make a strong presence in the market in view of the times that are very conducive to entrepreneurship, as there was competition in tea powder business. These aspirations did not get any family support. Mr. Bamb chose his own path and established the “Vardhaman Tea Powder “at the young age of 21, hoping to transform his ideas into reality . He also had to raise huge debt of Rs 12 lakh from the market despite using all the pocket money. The income earned through the depot was not enough to repay the capital required for daily business and the loans taken from the market. So every day, he had to face new problems. However, he was not the one to be cowed down by the difficulties that beset his path, he overcame them bravely and started selling tea powder at wholesale prices in the market by launching Vardhaman Tea Trading Company. He set up a business that would become a part of the customer’s lifestyle, with tremendous efforts and his management skills . He would go for marketing every day by taking samples of tea powder in different cities to find new customers. And he slowly lightened his fiscal burden by paying off all the debts. From this small beginning, Vardhaman Tea Company has become famous for its unique tea blend, which gives tea lovers a delightful taste and experience.
Along with tea production Mr. Bamb entered a modern concept of “Chaei ka Adda “ in the year 2015 with new delicacy and a corporate hangout. There they served 60 types of national and international tea to the tea lovers and a huge amount of supply of varieties of tea powders in the market. After a great response from the customers and visitors who encouraged him to grow and he started to work on franchise model . Hence Mr. Bamb started his research and he opened 3 outdoor outlets and 2 corporate sector outlets to gain experience on franchise concept and understanding the market,as also the capital requirements for a new brand launch . With these efforts finally after 3 year long journey he achieved the platform he was looking for and then the successful brand “Chaha House & Tea Kettly “started it’s operations in the year 2019 and entered the retail market. There are over 30 different types of hot tea , tea powder and teatime snacks available in this lounge and tea is sold here at affordable prices.
